I am trying to clean the front cap and can't seem to get these streaks to come off. I bought the Wash Wax All kit but it does not seem to be taking them off. It will lighten them up a little but that is about it. I am sure others have had this issue...is there something else that will work better against this and be safe for the finish?Photo of streaks on front cap

I am pretty sure Awesome (Dollar Store) would take those streaks off. Seems to remove any streaks I have had on my rigs. The issue is it can be a little strong if not diluted properly. It will remove the existing wax and I would be cautious about using on your graphics.

Go to GoClean.com and ask Mary Mopins if her ReNewZit product will do the job. Then be sure to clean your roof and protect it before cleaning your sides. After the ReNewZit be sure to put on her Advantage UV protectant. Tell Mary that rlgetman referred you. Thanks

Remove wax and scrub with bar keepers friend - re-wax.

I suspect you might be talking about the streaks in the wax after washing and waxing. I have noticed the same thing on my front cap and really don't have a solution. Maybe a light buffing with a soft circular pad might do the job. I haven't tried it yet, but would like to hear from someone who has and what their results have been.

Looks like my front cap after sitting all winter. Also the rear cap. This week is clean up week. Will wash it and then use Meguires #50 Cleaner Wax and all will be pretty again for the season!Any cleaner wax for fiberglass will work but I have always had great results with Meguires.

Which is exactly why I used the Spic n Span and Murphys Soap! Dawn alone would be fine! At one time Dicor recommended the Dawn dish soap but I see they have their own specialized cleaners now!

I've used simple green(biodegradable) and a little bit of bleach. I use a soft long handle scrub brush and go at it. It works perty well.

What do you use to clean the roof? I can't image waxing the roof...it is like a rubber membrane.

Nothing removes black streaks better.

Just don't use it full strength! it's really powerful stuff. No need to say how I know.....Just take my word for it!

Trust those that say clean the roof first. The streaks originate from the dirt on the roof. A good wash and wax on the roof 1x/year should take care of new streaks along with hosing the roof off on a regular basis. A cleaner wax or if necessary a buffing compound then wax of your choice will work on the streaks in the picture.

Wash the whole thing in Awesome for a dollar. Then hit it with a car wash with wax. All done and back to camping.
