Clunking noise
I'm new to the fifth wheel thing. What is the fifth wheel hitch clunking noise? I here it when braking and starting from a slow-down or stop.

Most likely you have the universal rails installed in the bed of your truck. The points the hitch attach to the rails can make noise and also the head to the hitch base and also the jaw may not have a very tight connection to the kingpin.
Most likely the nature of the beast. For sure take it back to the installer to check it out.
