Colorado Springs area camping with OHV trails etc?

I'm barely settled but got "snowed in" today and started poking around looking for campgrounds for spring that have ATV OHV trails from the campground. I found a few on hwy 24 past woodland park,(1...

Is an OHV permit required on vehicles with a street plate? I did not see an answer to this question.


From my understanding in talking to the State Parks guys, YES, if you want to take your street licensed vehicle onto an OHV trail, you need an OHV permit as well. I have both on my KLX.
