I will add that we tow over cottonwood pass from Buena Vista to get to Taylor Park. To me it is not a big deal but it is over a 13K foot pass and is a windy dirt road on the way down. I have heard folks say they would not do it. I have a 38ft toyhauler as well and like I said don't consider it a big deal.
You can also come in from HWY 50. I have not done that but understand it is all paved and not near as much elevation change. I don't know where your coming from but those are a couple things to be aware of.
