comparisons of new 5th wheels

I'm looking at some reviews for a new 5th wheel, we are looking to purchase. We are going between the Prime Time Sanibel 3901, the Forest River Sandpiper 377 FLIK, and The Grand Design Solitude, I believe. We are looking for any feedback, regarding these (3), front living units. This is our first 5th wheel purchase, (travel trailer, previously) and we are looking for info, from anyone regarding these units. Thank you for your help!

Your ruling out Arctic Fox? Sad.
Please do yourself a favor and look at all the posts about front living room units. Lots of negative comments from super high pin weights to having to climb steps all the time.

I am familiar with the quality Arctic Fox puts into their RV's. I don't believe Arctic Fox has a Front Living 5th wheel floorplan.
While I don't have or desire a FL floorplan they are certainly a viable option for many.
I imagine those that complain about steps and storage obviously don't own front living models. There are certainly more factors to consider than just steps and outside storage
  • Not to mention that most Front Living Room units have very marginal outside storage.

  • MY OPINION ONLY - - The Solitude would be my choice from those 3... They were on our short list 3 years back, but lost out on the sale..
  • Yes, the Vilano, we looked at was great. but unfortunately out of our price range. For what we were looking to spend, these three units were brought to our attention to look at.
