cost of replacing rubber roof on 35 foot fiver?

had camping world look at roof after wife following me down interstate noticed the roof ballooning. they said there was a big rip in it and it could not be repaired but had to be replaced. it is a 2011 big country and have not had any real problems. would like to get couple more years off use. has anyone had a similar length roof replaced recently?

  • i cant see it ballooning with a rip. It would just keep tearing. Ballooning is getting more common tho. depending on how bad it can be repaired

And what happened to using capital letter?

I agree about CW I would not let them touch my rig . They ripped me off
and I will never return to them for disservice again. YMMV but I doubt it.
There are some good parts to the Good Sam Camping World empire but service is NOT one of them. They refused to return my money and I resent the arrogance of the service manager at the Syracuse location. After about 4 years I am still mad as hell at the way I was treated and the incompetence of the service.

  • Isn't that 5er worth about $25 to $30,000? And you want a couple of more years using it? Very strange. Fix it one way or the other.

How big is the big rip?
    Did you look at it?
Where is the rip front, middle, back. Left side, Right side?
If in the right place eternabond tape might do the trick

My thoughts also. 2011 is not very old. Can you use an adhesive
to glue down the loose rubber, then eternabond over the rip area.
No one can see up there anyway.
