For those with a Curt hitch for Ford prep, how much pressure do you use to close the latches to hold the hitch? Do you use hand pressure, have to use some force or take a hammer and beat it closed? In...

I do not have a Curt, but beating on it, should not be necessary. I am wondering if there is a washer under the castle nut, that could be changed out, or another thin one added to correct the problem.
Most Ford owners have DEEP pockets! As mentioned above, a more expensive hitch could solve the problem. :)
