You will have a ghost of decals showing. We removed ours and it took a long time. We used several different things but what worked best was a heat tool with an attachment for a razor blade. But be very careful...
Our 5th wheel had mostly factory paint and that still looks great. We did not have a lot of decals but it takes a long time to remove them. And elbow grease! If we had known what we know now we would have ordered it with only the paint and NO decals. It now is black and white instead of having the tacky gold decals which started curling and getting sun burnt and dis colored! It looks very nice now and would have to look for where the decals were. But does show where they were. Maybe in a few years and sun the ghost prints will fade.
