Pulling up whatever is there first or just going straight over the top of it, in case I ever buy another one?

What's MOYM?? (Google didn't help) - Sport45Explorer IIWhat's MOYM?? (Google didn't help)
- ChiefcpoExplorerMOYM both instruction say to roll it down and then add seam sealer to the edges to cover the sticky puddy.
- albowExplorerYeah, I guess it would have lol but then it would have had to be pulled off and I couldn't wait until Monday as I had it exposed now. The Dicor is extremely sticky so I guess it's just a matter of how well it holds up now. Wouldn't have been that hard to apply if it weren't for those darn screw heads every 6 inches or so. MAde it really slow and aggravating but I wanted to make sure I got it down good.
- avvidclif1ExplorerA piece of duct tape will last until Monday.
- RAS43Explorer IIIYou should not worry about the Dicor product. I have used their patch kit and it worked well. Their tape should be just as good . Afterall, they make rubber roof material so their repair products should be as good.
Agree also that here people seem to be locked in to Eternabond but there are other products just as good and when you need it now it is not convenient to have to order some and wait while another product is available locally. - brireneExplorer

Nobody is lying to me. THe hours the 2 places in Birmingham that have eternabond are open are not until Monday and Monday is no better than Thursday to me right now, whereas I can get the dicor today. Sorry to have caused the misinterpretation.
I think he was referring to my post about the dealership, but I didn't feel lied to either. I think people get locked in to the brand they use, and refuse to believe another product can be as good. My using the term "generic" probably muddied the water as well. I think Dicor makes a pretty good product too. As I said, it worked for me, and it was available at a time I couldn't wait. That's real world, not speculation or product loyalty. YMMV.
