Dicor Sealant Removal

Question

I have an issue with coax cable going to base of antenna and I need to remove the base from the roof.  It is sealed all around base with dicor sealant..  Any special way I should remove it?  I have a heat gun but leery of using it due to rubber roof. Any suggestions appreciated.

I user a sharp 1" chisel and be careful.

I use a plastic putty knife and I am still careful not to cut the rubber. It should come off fairly easily.

I have removed dicor from the roof of my trailer and resealed.  Used a plastic putty knife and was careful not to tear the rubber roof.
