- bradley0128ExplorerWhat is your height now? Mine is 13 ft already. I'd be afraid to lift it more. There surely are times I'd like more clearance.

Got the springs mounted on top of the axles today...no more nose high. Just have to figure out how to deal with the steep ramp.
Are you having any issues with the steep ramp ??
Did you find a need to alter the entry door steps due to the added height ??
I am trying to decide in the next couple days if I am going to convert mine to spring over.

yes , they put new spring pads on ,no reason to cut off and reuse, that way if ya deside to go back you can. also easy to make sure of the proper position of axle flipped

Axles are cambered
Brake operation -Mounting flange will have wrong orientation putting primary brake shoe in wrong place.

Are you guys leaving the spring pads on the bottom of the axles, when doing a spring over, or are you having the bottom pads cut off ??
My wife asked me why I couldn't just flip the axle and use the same pads.... I am sure there is a reason why this won't work, but I don't know the answer.
Anyone have the answer ??

anybody have any issues with their ladder brackets. the top bracket of my ladder just pulled out like the bolt was stripped.
Mine is drilled all the way through the trailer and bolted from the inside
Interesting, I wonder if that was an afterthought due to a design flaw? I have nothing on the inside wall. Is it a bolt with a big washer to keep from pulling through or what? Thanks
There is a aluminum plate covered with the same paneling as the interior walls. I don't know how to post pictures here but if you give me your email I'll send you some pictures - naytherExplorer

My propane line splits and T's under the propane tank storage.
The one side of the T has a cap on it.
Anyone know what the line with the cap is intended for ??
Anyone replace the cap with a quick disconnect/valve and have a soft line for a grill ??
I've been to Camping World and El Toro RV to look for a setup to replace the cap with a valve/quick disconnect so I can run a soft/rubber line to a grill. Both places have told me this will not work and try to sell me a $80 T with a line that connects up at the tank....
I did see this and intended to tap into it with a quarter turn valve. had one on my previous trailer and it worked fine.
It all depends where the regulator is. If the capped line comes off after the regulator then your BBQ has to be one without a regulator. If your BBQ has a regulator then they're right, you need to T in at the tank, before the regulator. Just about any 1/2" ball valve will work in place of the cap, if you look on a ball valve it should say "125 WOG" that means 125# Water Oil Gas and is the rating of the valve for those services. - adams92207Explorer
