You do look just a bit high in the front. You'll be fine the way it sits now. 5th wheels pull different that the P/T's. While your driving and you drive through a low area or even a dip in the road, look in your driver side mirrior and watch how the trailer rear end handles the dip. You'll be suprized. It doesn't really go low in the rear unless it's a really deep and long low area. - Aquaholic502Explorer

Nice pic, is that pismo? We are only 30 minutes from there but never really go. I would say it does look a little nose hight but im no fan of making the trailer taller I would rather see if you can lower the truck some how. - danojenoExplorerI don't claim much experience, but... It is too hard to tell from the pic due to shadows. Get it hooked up on flat ground and measure frame to ground in rear. Measure same in front and compare the numbers. Yours doesn't look as extreme as mine was, but just can't see from the pic...

Thanks for all the reply guys. I called Eclipse to find the difference and they said walk on roof they put 3/8" plywood plus the folding ladder and non walk on roof has 1/4 luan topping, but still has the 2x2 support every 16 inches, so you can still do your regular maintenance. We'll basically 3K difference to have both options in. We are very close to finalize this deal on 2012 Attitude 28aklg and they are giving me a good deal. I just want to see other people's opinion if they are willing to spend 3k more.
If someone is charging you anywhere close to 3K for the two options, keep looking. When I was looking, Major RV in Hesperia and a place in Fresno had very low advertised prices...might want to prowl their websites for comparison if you haven't already. They were way lower than the traditional southern CA dealers. - drivebusterExplorerThanks for all the reply guys. Is walk on the roof and 15K BTU ac option a big deal? How many people got the walk on roof option? We're trying to buy one and we went to 2 dealership. The other dealer has walk on roof option and $1400 more than the other one. This will be our first brand new trailer and I need some opinion if walk on the roof is worth it
I would strongly recommend both options. If you plan on operating in hot environments, the additional thickness of the roof and additional output volume of the AC unit makes a noticable difference.
I would give Barry's RV in Bakersfield a shot. Link Here. I think the roof was $300 and the AC unit was $200. - StrutterExplorer

I'm not sure of the roof option. My roof is not the rubber older ones have but more of a textured plastic-y material. When I visited the factory, the rep said he had 15 people on one partying at a race, but never mentioned a specific option. My roof is very solid.
Odd to me, though, when checking my caulk I noticed it to be looking almost sheared open where the end caps attach. Is this from flex? Has anyone else noticed this?
I didn't get the walk on roof. At the time I didn't think it was worth the extra cost. i Think the walk on roof is thicker so adds some weight and comes with a ladder which mine did not. I used an extension ladder to get up on the roof to mount my satellite dish and it did feel a bit flimsy under my weight but as long as I stayed on the trusses it was fine. for washing I'll just use the extension ladder. The only time I can imagine needing the option is if I'm camping and need to get on the roof for a repair. - bradley0128ExplorerI'm not sure of the roof option.
