- bob_nestorExplorer IIIThe Dometic toilet in my RV has a particle catcher at the point where the incoming water hose connects to the back of the toilet. Hard water has left crystals that collect there and restrict the flow. The same particles also collect in the screens in the sinks in both kitchen and bath. I've had to disconnect the line, remove the particle trap and clean it out a couple of times to restore normal flow to the toilet.
- korbeExplorerAs a comparison, my tank bowl inlet flows at about the same rate as a sink. If it is not, I would look for a restriction of some sort along the route.
- donn0128Explorer IICity or pump pressure? Fill is pressure sensative so if you have really low pressure it will take longer to work. BTW, how long is a long time?
