You pull the motor off, a matter of a minute or so, and there is a bolt that you can turn with a ratchet, impact driver, drill, or some such. There's no gearbox or 90 degree bevel gear to fail, when you turn that bolt you're turning the screw in the leg. Very simple and straight forward system.
