MSRP is for their dealers and public as a starting point....manufactures do not sell retail...hence their dealer network.
Then it is up to the consumer and dealer to agree on a dollar amount that is agreeable to both.
This is not something new!! Manufacturers and dealers have to make a profit as in any business so why the questions??
So for the consumer...negotiate and get the best deal possible.
