Crossroads Rushmore

I have recently encountered serious Structural problems with my 2013 Crossroads Rushmore (Washington floor plan). I am the second owner and Crossroads will not agree to any assistance. I understand that the original warranty does not pass beyond the first owner, but the unit is within two years of rolling off the line and I feel that Crossroads should bare some responsibility and better stand behind their products. Am I wrong? Has anyone else had any similar experience?
  • Yep! I hate to hear this. But you really can't expect the manufacturer to warranty this. They have no idea how that unit was treated or if it was abused or in an accident, right?

Might have recourse against the first owner if he knew about it and didn't say something about it or intentionally hid it.

Many warranties (and not just on RVs) apply to original owner only. While it seems clear there were big problems with this line and in a certain time frame, that doesn't automatically mean that the previous owner didn't cause or aggravate those problems. And that is the issue any company faces with warranties beyond the original owner. A few yrs ago, buyers of used Ford trucks with the 6.0L diesel faced the same issue, no warranty on an unreliable motor. The downside of buying used.
  • About the only comment I can and should add is that there have been numerous reports of quality issues in the CrossRoads Rushmore line.

One article read said CrossRoads itself having problems with managers replaced and new folks taking over with regards to all the problems with the Rushmore series.

So, don't feel alone, cause appears lot of other folks having problems with their Rushmores.
