Today, I was just wanting to look at the floor plan again so I Googled the model number and Youtube came up for it. It said for under 50K!!! What???!!! I was in disbelief! so, I clicked through to their website, which turned out to be a wholesaler. I asked for an instant email quote, and the new price? $48,000 and change!!!
What???!!!! This is unbelievable!!! I went into shock!!! AND outrage!!! The MSRP on this site stated, $55,900, but BNRV stated that it was $87,651!
I cannot believe that dealers have marked up the RVs so much!!! It almost looks like the clothing industry, where they mark up 100%!
Well, now I am wiser to this industry, after seeing actual wholesale prices! What an education I have been getting these past few weeks!!!
I called Evergreen and asked them what the MSRP was for this unit and they told me that they did not know it....to ask my dealer. What a racket!!! As some of you have stated that MSRP is just a fictitious number, now I have clear proof of it!
Google is your friend and an educated buyer will know when the price is a good deal.
