Zackyboy3rs: There is no doubt that you will be pleased with the switch. We are on our 2nd 5er after having 4 TT through the years. Once you get used to it you will never go back unless health is the cause(needing a totally flat floor). As previous posts stated, make sure if you get a GPS get one that is RV friendly. Your 5er is going to be over 12' tall if a high profile. You will find you can turn shorter and can put it in some places you would have difficulty putting a TT. Congrats on your venture. Enjoy, Happy Camping and Merry Christmas.
Thank you. The total height is 141". Low profile. - BusaGuyExplorer

I am not how much your "life will change" with a different RV. Life changes usually involve change of jobs, marriage, divorce, and death of spouse or a child. Your post seems a little melodramatic to me!!!!!!

- AUwing2ExplorerPermagrin will have replaced that nervousment long before you get to the high school parking lot. Remember the trailer wheels will track inside your TV rear tires on curves and corners.

- rattleNsmokeExplorerRemember to look UP. The fivers are quite a bit taller than travel trailers. Depending on your exact 'hook-up' height when loaded for camping, you may want to invest in a trucker GPS that will watch for low clearances on most major highways.
- zackyboy3rsExplorerThanks for all the encouragement. I plan to practice the backing part at our local highschool. This will after my 3 1/2 hour drive home.
THANKS & MERRY CHRISTMAS!
