I have a fabric cover for our 31' DP. It is a bit of a bother to cover and uncover. I see no way to do it without walking the top. The cover is very heavy and takes some effort to drag it up there.
Our cover is less than a year old and has several patches. The CB antenna snapped and the sharp end and wind cut a slit. The furnace was left on an burned a small hole. The entry door has snagged the cover and made a small tear.
I still think it is our best solution for protecting our RV from the sun and dirt.
