I've always covered my RVs and have had good results. Last year it went into the repair shop in October and due to delay in getting right decals from Keystone, it spent the winter uncovered. When I finally pick it up, what a mess! I didn't think anything could get that dirty just sitting out in the open.
It takes me about 20 minuets cover it and cinch it down. A lot has to do with how you roll it up in the spring. I just pull up the sides fold it to the middle and roll it up front to the back and stuff it in the sack. In the fall I start from the back and roll it out... I can see where all the roof components are and have never stepped on any of them.
I don't need any help, that would just turn it into a project (if you know what I mean).
