Fair Price 2019 Artic Fox 275L

Friend sent me a link to someone selling a F350 King Ranch Diesel. I asked why he was selling it, he bought the truck and 5th wheel to live on a property he was building a house on.

My plan all along was to buy new in the fall of 2021, truck and trailer. Neither of these are exactly what I would purchase, but I'm also looking at spending a LOT more.

Looking at 2019 AF sales on line, the prices are all over the map, from 25 to 50.

What would be a fair price for the trailer? I was thinking 55 for the truck with 20k miles. No warranty work on record, no damage history. Throwing the trailer into the mix as a package might make it a little sweeter for him. Thinking of offering $75k.

Thoughts?

My wild card, is for the next several weeks, my ability to fetch either is difficult. If I only got the truck, I'd probably have it shipped. Both is more challenging.

  • We decided to pass on the package for two reasons, it was more than I wanted to spend on the products. He was not in the mood for negotiations of any kind. Second, and even more important reason, DW and I have a LOT on our plate right now. Taking this on, given the pricing issue, was too much for us to deal with.

This AF was nowhere near on our radar... it is now. We're going to stick to our original plan of purchase in 18 months.
  • If its a long ways away, you might get someone on the forum to look at it for you, and send pics.
  • Looks to me like around $90k is what it's going to take to own the whole package. 55 might be a little light on the truck. The list on one of them new is in the 80s. The trailer is worth around 35-40 in my neck of the woods.

Agreed. No way I would sell my 2018 for that.
