You can go online and read complaints about Cummins, Duramax and PowerStroke... It doesn't matter which you get if you try to play the numbers, you may end up with one trouble-free or you may end up with a lemon. The achilles heel for all of them is very simple... DPF/SCR/EGR.
Personally, I chose the 6.4L over the 6.7L and it was a great choice for me. Stock for stock, the playing field is pretty level.
