Generator- gasoline or propane?

I plan to get the LP generator (if I choose to go 5W route) because I plan to go relatively heavy on solar hence only needing the generator on occasions (multiple cloudy days in a row). If your need is to use the generator more frequently, gas is the way to go otherwise you will need to carry LOTS of LP in your 5W.
