Generator- gasoline or propane?

If the slight maintenance on a gasoline genny is a problem for you, install a fuel shut off switch in the fuel line between the gas tank and the carb. Turn it off before shutting down the genny and run out the residual gasoline. This will greatly reduce the gumming up/carb problems. A fuel shut off switch is available Lowes and most small engine service shops. Works for me.
