Hankook Trailer Tires

You may want to look at Sailons. I am running them and they are excellent. check them out

Agree, it's more about load range now a day's as opposed to talking about 10 ply 12 ply. More about construction and weight of the tire and it's weight rating.

Nothing wrong with towing at a lower rate of speed. MPG is better, and I'm sure it's got to be a little safer...I don't think I want to tow @ 75 mph...

You know that TH-10 is rated at 65 MPH. You can get the AH-11 in LRF or LRG and they are rated at 75 mph.

The medium truck tire designed for low platform trailer service is probably the best type of tire on the market for RV trailer axles from 6000# - 8000#. The tire can be purchased in sizes with load ranges F-G-J or H with speed ratings from 62 MPH to 75 MPH. Profiles comparable with 16” tires can easily be found. You can get them from “off shore” tire manufacturers or a multitude of domestic tire manufacturers.

Researching the brand names can be done by visiting the NHTSA tire defects/complaints data base.
