Tire companies will not allow P tires or LT type tire to be used in a trailer application. Did the tire companies miss something?

I now have and have owned trailers that came with P and LT tires as OEM so apparently you know something they don't.
I believe your badly mistaken according to several LT tire mfg and their dealers I and others have 1-800 with or email with over the years to their tire tech folks however can you show us a link or credible source of information for that broad statement Other than the loaded question emails we've all seen on RV.net the last year or so. No use going over that nonsense again.
Please inform us where a company the manufactures tires is wrong.
Best practise
Carlisle is a company that heavily "markets" ST trailer tires that they manufacture!!! Chris

So is there anything wrong with marketing their product? Let's get back to the facts. Is there any technical reason Carlisle recommendations are not factually correct. Is there any reason they should be disqualified as an expert on the subject?MM49
