  • Two of my friends had big Heartland 5th wheels, and hated them. Neither couple kept their's more than one year. Luckily, they both had plenty of funds to dump them and buy something else. One of the guys told me he had something like 48 warranty issues in one year.
Only you can decide, but I would look elsewhere.
  • The Big Horn is one step down from the Landmark. The Landmark, Big Horn and Big Country are built of the same assembly line.

In May of 2016 we bought a new 2017 BH3575el that we love. We towed it to Arizona and back twice from NW Washington, living full time in it for about a year and a half. It is now our summer home in Washington and we commute to Az we a little Laredo TT and winter in our park model.

We found the support for Heartland fantastic on the few issues we experienced.

  • We have a '18 Big Country (purchased in May '17) and had a design issue which was fixed w/o a problem under warranty. About 12-15 local trips (less than 100 miles), 1 trip to ME and another to FL and no issues. Very happy w/ overall fit/finish/construction. Although it's rated for full time use, don't plan on retiring for several more years, so not sure where we will stand come then. In the meantime, it's everything we were looking for.
  • Have had a Heartland BigHorn 3670 since fall of 2012 and full time. There was an initial shake out, but since then, we've been very happy with it. I'm sure you'll get 50/50 responses, though.
