My answer would be YES to much difference;
In a perfect scenario front and rear trailer axles should be the same if not very close to the same.

ON EDIT: I had read wrong earlier, thus the reason for my edit. There is more weight on the rear axle as opposed to the front axle, though he's not over his axles weight rating...I'd still want to even out the load as much as I could between the front and rear axle on the 5er and one could do that by lowering the front of the 5er instead of running "nose high"...I understand OP has a dilemma with trying to do that. Might want to take combo to a hitch install business or someone that can help with this issue to have it done correctly
