Your argument makes sense if the weight added to the hitch only affects the Rear Axle.
To me Pin Weight is the amount of weight added to my truck when the 5th wheel is attached, or the amount of weight on the pin/5th wheel hitch. This weight is ascertained by weighing the truck unloaded and loaded, and then subtracting the unloaded weight from the loaded weight.
That, to me, is Pin Weight. We'll have to agree to disagree on it. :)
