You just stated EXACTLY what I've been saying all along!!..where did you not understand what I stated...I even gave the definition, which you just repeated almost verbatim.....I don't understand where I lost you....
One more time...'Pin weight is defined as the weight put on the 5th wheel hitch when you hook to the 5er.... I weigh my truck with no 5er hooked up...I see the weight that is printed out for drive axle with no 5er hooked up, ie, the rear axle... then I load the 5er and subtract the difference,... that gives me "pin weight"..you are agreeing with me......
my rear axle weight with truck completed loaded, ready to camp LESS 5er hooked to the hitch weighed 3860#..THEN all I did was hook my 5er up to my hitch, rear axle weight increased from 3860# to 7200#...(my hitch is almost directly over my rear axle, in the bed of the truck)...I take 7200# (weight with 5er king pin setting on my hitch and subtract it from weight of rear axle without 5er king pin setting on the hitch, 7200 less 3860# and get my pin weight of 3340#.

That is exactly what I said..re-read my post...re-read the definition of what "pin weight" is. You said EXACTLY the same thing I've been saying all along..
