There are 2 numbers I am concerned with. The actual weight on my rear tires(axle) to not exceed the RAWR. And the GVWR(weight on TV when hitched up, front plus rear)
Just stating again what the DEFINITION of pin weight is: amount of weight PUT ON the hitch. Though I tend to agree with you to some point, (why not add the extra 180 I added to my front axle), BUT, AGAIN, that IS NOT part of the formula in the definition of "pin weight. It'll show up as GVW..though I know it's still part of the GVW of my 5er that has been put on the truck...
I'm simply following the definition of what is called "pin weight"....it is restricted, by definition to just the weight put on the hitch....
