On Pin Weight; I can see adding whatever was applied to the front axle to the pin weight, That's the weight applied to the TV by the trailer. BUT You can't subtract any change in the front axle weight from the pin weight. The weight is there just behind the rear axle unloading the front.
There are 2 numbers I am concerned with. The actual weight on my rear tires(axle) to not exceed the RAWR. And the GVWR(weight on TV when hitched up, front plus rear)
Put another way: Suppose you didn't have access to a scale that weighed front and rear axles separately and you needed to find your pin weight. You'd weigh the truck loaded and unloaded and subtract the unloaded weight from the loaded weight. That would give you the amount of weight added to the truck.
In this case subtract unloaded GVW of 8460 lbs. from the loaded GVW of 10900 lbs. and you get 2440 lbs.
