Thanks for the input guys. I can't explain the oddities of this particular "certified scale" or why in the world my steer axle weighs less with the 5er attached when the pin IS a few inches in front of the rear axle. What I do know is this...
*I am considerably pin high
*I have over 1,000 pounds more on the rear trailer axle than is on the front trailer axle
*I am still within the axle ratings
*I am still within the trailer tire ratings
*I am well within all limits of the truck
