I'd want to try to level your 5er to the truck, if at all possible to spread the weight out between the two 5er axles.
Physics would seem to formulate that there is less weight on your front axle because weight is pushing down on the back of the truck, actually taking some weight off the front axle, which I would think, might affect the way the truck steers/handles possibly. . Possiblity of putting airbags on to see if you could level the load, ie, push the bed upward, to level, which, in no way, would help your already nose high 5er. Have you though about flipping the axle on the 5er to raise it up?
