Having the 5th wheel in a nose high towing position, or not having enough clearance between the bed rails and 5th wheel seems to be happening more and more. Or at least I seem to be noticing it more with the newer model trucks, especially the 2013-2014. And from looking at the new trucks they do seem to sit quite a bit higher than older models.
I really don't understand this need to add altitude to the trucks. Is it just an appearance thing? Taller truck looks tougher than a shorter truck type thing? Or am I missing why the trucks seem to be so tall? For the life of me I don't understand it.
