Just stating again what the DEFINITION of pin weight is:
amount of weight PUT ON the hitch.
Bottom line, when the "so called experts", (not me, by any means), defined pin weight, they stated pin weight is the weight PUT ON THE HITCH
King Pin Weight (also called Pin Weight) is the actual weight pressing down on the fifth wheel hitch by the trailer.
Well, it seems to me the definition you are using is NOT the weight on the hitch, but the weight on the drive axle but what do I know.
