Hi-Pitch Squeal
If I turn on only one light in my 5th wheel, I get a hi-pitch squeal. When I turn on a second or more lights, the squeal stops. Is my inverter doing this? A problem?

Could be as simple as the cooling fan in the converter, which would not run when not connected to shore power. Fans can squeal harmonically at certain RPM, and not at others.
