Squealing awning
My dometic electric awning is making awful sounds either extending or retracting. I have lubricated every joint with silicone spray but no help. I would appreciate some help. thank you, Dave

- Did you lube the rod on the assist springs?

- We had the same problem at and after a Rally near Shreiveport, La plusthe jacks sounded like heck.
The dust was so fine you couldn't see it but it got into everything when the wind blew. Sprayed it with silicon and unfurled it and flushed it good with water and more silicone and wiped it off.. Did the same with the jacks then lubed them at the fitting.
Hard to get under this thing to flush the exposed jack rams with silicone and then wipe it downward only. Cant do that now.
