Weigh your truck with fuel passengers and hitch just like you are ready to hook up your 5er. Take the weight of the rear axle. Now look at the tire rating at max tire pressure, probably 80psi. Now take that number x2. Subtract rear axle weight from tire capacity and you have your answer as to what your max weight that can be added to the hitch. Very little of that weight foes to the front axle. Tires are the weak link usually.
Take the GCWR of the rv, 25% of that number is your Max pin weight.
