How high should it be above the trucks bed rails ?
I just moved up from a TT to a FW. How high should it sit above the truck bed sides ? As it sits now I've got 7 in or so. Mine is set up with goose neck adapter. Thanks for any help

Is the trailer level at 7" if so your fine..... If not you need to be careful that you are not overloading the lower end trailer axle. Trailer should be close to level hitched up.
As above gooseneck adapters are not necessarily recommended on a fifth wheel trailer puts more stress on the frame as they are not designed like a gooseneck trailer.
