How high should it be above the trucks bed rails ?

I just moved up from a TT to a FW. How high should it sit above the truck bed sides ? As it sits now I've got 7 in or so. Mine is set up with goose neck adapter.
Thanks for any help

    Long time since 5ver but think 6" is good. My 5ver was about 6". Be careful with goose neck adapter. They put lots of stress on 5vers. 5vers aren't as strong as stocktrailers.
