There's all kinds of people on this site safely pulling 5vers in the 22-24K category with 3500 very late model one ton duallys that are rated to easily pull them and doing so safely and with no issues. If you choose to move way up to driving a semi which that's what the MDTs basically are, then plan on always having to find a place far from stores to be able to park it when using it as your daily driver while your camper is set up in a campground, not to mention the higher cost to purchase and for maintenance and repairs.
