Actually in Texas, where OP lives, if combined GVWR exceeds 26k a Class A non-CDL drivers license is required. Not saying most rv'ers here have it but I do .When I went from the 2500 to the dually put me over.
That's a lot of rv. I am on the side of the 350/3500 and if I could bring myself to own another ford would look at 450.
