This thread is way off the original question. I need to know if it is repairable.
The question of how it happened and what my legal rights are when renting a space are not part of that subject. Thanks for your replies. Now back to our regularly scheduled discussion on repairing the problem
Sure it's repairable; how much money you got? You hear the same thing in the antique tractor/car world. Is it restorable? Sure; just depends on how deep your pockets are. Now, if it boils down to whether the DW will ever want to stay in it again, that's a whole other ball o'wax. If the park's insurance company fixes it to your satisfaction, but DW won't stay in it, you've got a problem. At that point, you simply have to ask her how much she's willing to spend on another RV to replace the repaired one. You also need to make sure that you expect the park's insurance co. to compensate you for the loss of its use for the time it's in the shop =and= make sure you include a clause that states you intend to sell it and expect them to make up the difference on a new RV to replace the old one. Yes, I know that'll probably be a sticking point, but it puts them on notice that you won't simply roll over when they say "boo". Make 'em =work= a bit. :-/
