Inside Step Pads
What have some of you used to protect the carpeted steps inside your fifth wheel? These steps are the most used area and most likely to show wear and tear first. Thanks,

- Originally rounded front wood tread w/ carpeted riser.
Squared off tread, removed carpet and covered with linoleum that matches rest of floor.
C.B. - Oak wood
- Home depot has stair rugs that fit well and come in several colors.
- Rubber backed throw rugs...
Walmart has them in step size, runners and in various design colour to match your interior.
Cheap, easy to clean and changed around when needed.
Works for us on a number of rv's we owned.

- Well this was our solution, we added a step and made then much nicer.
- I use plastic carpet protector.
