Been researching this, evidently if the work is done by a company and the company files the claim you do NOT need to file the W9
However, because I was stuck and got a tech ( who is certified ATCO etc) who was not Keystone certified for warranty work, he could not subit the claim. I paid him and submitted the claim. They are willing to pay the amount I paid the tech to fix my automatic levlors, howerver they need my info for tracking purposes, probably the IRS. Evidently this all came about in August, because I asked why wasnt informed when I bought the rig.
It looks like if I want to get paid I have to submit the form although I am only a owner, the form is used for business. I dont think the form was to be used for this purpose. Tried to get a hold of the IRS, no live body. What a joke
