King Control Jack Antenna

Had Jack over the air HDTV antenna installed 1 year ago. Been working fine until now. Has power to antenna booster and roof attenuator inside of camper. Power light is on, however when I attempt to turn antenna to get best signal, I have no green lights for signal. When I attempt to scan in channels it is not picking up any. I have TV set on AIR, not cable. I have also checked all fuses. Any suggestions?

    that is not an amplifier, it's a power supply. You cannot simply remove the amplifier from either the Jack or the Batwing, and there is no reason one cannot use the Batwing power supply on the Jack. But in the end the flat best performing antenna IS the batwing.

    Thanks, I think if I had a bat wing it would still be there. The fixed frisbie type had the coax coming up through the base and the coax was hidden. I didn't want to have to drill another hole in the roof.

    I replaced my Batwing with a Jack. Simple bolt on and connect the coax. Nothing else. This thing really works and best of all it doesn't rattle all night in the wind and keep me awake! If you are having problems just give the manufacturer King Controls, a call. They have great customer service..

    I just tossed my Jensen fixed antenna in the garbage today and I'm trying to install the Jack. Can anyone tell me if you have to run the coax outside the base, or can you cover it. The instructions are not to clear on this.

    TV is working OK, have cable hooked up right now and TV is working fine. I think I may need a roof visit to check for damage

    The first thing I would do is eliminate the possibilities of what is at fault TV or ANTENNA.

    Can you run in a cable from somewhere and first prove the TV is OK. If the TV works then start troubleshooting the JACK ANTENNA,

    The JACK ANTENNA does a pre-amp in its base and they do go bad...

    I would think the first thing would be to prove to yourself what the problem is.

    Just my thoughts...
