Vinyl is not a floating floor....our laminate is.
IMHO, laminate gives our fiver a real nice look and soooooo easy to clean.
We installed the flooring ourselves after watching a number of Youtube videos.

LVT "Luxury Vinyl Tile" is a much better choice than laminate. It comes in many sizes and colors/patterns and textures. Bad tile peel one up. Ever tried to replace a laminate board in the middle of the floor?
