My Mobile Suites is plumbed with Pex tubing and fittings. Reinforced hose is used such as to hook up the water heater and the whole house filter. They used Pex fittings to join the hoses at these several locations. The hose is 1/2 inch where the Pex is less than that. So they used double clamps to hold the hose on the smaller Pex fittings. They leak! Anyone else experienced this and corrected it?

Try home depot they may have a shark bite that will work.

My fifth wheel has pex fittings thru-out and over the years of beating and banging up and down the road 1 or 2 are gonna leak. This past weekend the toilet in the bunkhouse had a small leak but had the floor all wet. I loosened the pex fitting all the way and then re-tightened and leak was gone. End of last season carpet wet in living area, I worked my way in and up thru the entertainment center..... All the way to the ceiling and there it was, loose pex fitting... Re- tightend and all good. I think it's good to check all the fittings every once in awhile,Problem is I've had two leak that were behind a wall, luckily both inside the entertainment center to easy to get to.

Or you can use compression type fittings to replace the leaking band-clamp type.

Shark bites are the bomb! We had a t-fitting snap in two on the first HOT day of summer. The condensation was running down the side of the trailer, and I thought the water heater had blown. Came inside to check, and sure enough, water all over under the sink. Shut the water off, tracked it all down, and that tee was gone. Wouldn't have found it without the a/c on high. We replaced it with a shark bite. No issues at all!2005 GMC 2500HD 4x4 6.01998 Jayco Designer 2930RKS

Can we all assume you are using a water pressure regulator? If not, it will leak for sure even with shark bites.
