Local dealer says stay away from new Maxxis tires??

I saw around 16-17 hits on Maxxis ST 8008 tires just on RV.net. A google on the net shows about the same on other RV and non RV trailer forums.

IMO the dealer is simply hawking his tire brands. A ST is still a ST regardless of brand.

If I was forced to use a ST tire at this time on a heavy trailer like a 5th wheel it would be the Maxxis 8008. They seem to be the least amount of issues in the larger sizes.
